I applied for and volunteered for the Pediatrics Unit at Avera Mckennan Hospital located in Sioux Falls. I was very interested to watch and learn more knowledge on the daily life of a Child Life Specialist. I was impacted greatly on how much a Child Life Specialists are able to change a child's and families experiences in the hospital setting.
